CPR, AED, and First Aid Courses Offered:
You can choose any combination of the following American Red Cross training and certification course components:
• Adult CPR for the community and workplace
• Adult AED for the community and workplace
• Child CPR for the community and workplace
• Child AED for the community and workplace
• Infant CPR for the community and workplace
• Standard First Aid
Red Cross CPR, AED, and First Aid Certificates:
• American Red Cross AED and CPR Certificates are valid for 1 year
• American Red Cross Standard First Aid Certificates are valid for 3 years
Demonstration of proper CPR technique and the successful completion of the standard
American Red Cross written test for each course component are required for certification

Giving Care Overview (included as part of any class)
• Recognizing unusual behaviors to help you identify an emergency situation
• Precautions to minimize the risk of disease transmission when giving care
• Prioritizing care when there is more than one victim
• Emergency action steps
American Red Cross Standard First Aid
Participants in this course component learn to recognize and respond to emergencies including: shock, cardiac and breathing emergencies, heat and cold emergencies, sudden illnesses, and poisonings
. Additionally, participants learn basic First Aid for everything from cuts and scrapes to muscle, bone and joint injuries

American Red Cross Adult CPR
Participants in this course component learn how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in youth and adults
. This course component consists of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on training and practice with approved CPR mannequins

American Red Cross Adult AED
This course component teaches individuals how to safely use an
AED device to provide care for youth and adult victims of sudden cardiac arrest
. This course component consists of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on training and practice with an approved
AED practice device

American Red Cross Child CPR
Designed for those who care for children, either full time or occasionally, this course component teaches participants how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in children ages 1 through 12. This course component consists of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on training and practice with approved CPR mannequins.
American Red Cross Child AED
This course component teaches individuals how to safely use an
AED device to provide care for children ages 1 through 12 who are victims of sudden cardiac arrest
. This course component consists of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on training and practice with an approved
AED practice device.
American Red Cross Infant CPR
Designed for those who care for infants, either full time or occasionally, this course teaches participants how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in infants up to 12 months of age. This course component consists of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on training and practice with approved CPR mannequins.
